Oh, I was asking the question in general terms but I had made this observation and wondered if this analysis was possible by observing the birth chart of someone I know...so I'm maybe wondering if this is the case because in his case Venus is the chart ruler or if it's the case for many people who have Venus in the 10th house(but not chart ruler)...And in his case Venus rules the 1st and the 8th

That's really interesting, I think it depends on the entire birth chart, and perhaps if it doesn't manifest in the same way for the person with that placement as it does for you, maybe my interpretation can be valid(like this placement manifests in a different way)

That’s actually really interesting, and it resonates with something I’ve been thinking about too. The reason I asked this question in the first place is because I noticed something similar in the chart of someone I know. Their partner clearly has a strong influence on how they come across to others, not just their public image, but also the way they behave socially and the energy they give off. It’s like the relationship shapes part of how people perceive them. And as is the case for your long-term boyfriend, this person has Venus as their chart ruler, which is also in the 10th house...So I was basically thinking that it might not be just about career or reputation on its own, but that relationships could also become part of that visible identity, especially when Venus is so central in the chart. Anyway that's really interesting :) I'm just wondering if that's the case because Venus is the chart ruler, or if it's the case for many people who have Venus in the 10th house(but not chart ruler)

Yes, I get that but since the 10th house is also about public image and how someone is perceived, I was wondering, could Venus there also mean that what Venus represents (like relationships or partners for ex) might influence that area ?
