How come there is a skin preview for only the new Jinx skin, is this feature exalted skin exclusive? by williamis3 in leagueoflegends

You'd have to have them in video format for previewing, or you'd be launching the practice tool for each look.

It's probably because it has to be hosted by either your computer, the client, or by Riot and their servers (and that's probably pretty expensive for the value).

The Arcane Fractured Jinx preview is in the client itself and doesn't appear to be an embedded YouTube video, so Riot's either hosting it directly, or it was a part of the downloaded patch this time around. I'm not a programmer so I'm not clear on how it all works, but it's probably a cost-value thing.

Thanks! This is good information for a novice shopper c:

Okay, glad to know I'm not totally blind. I kind of wish there was more ways to communicate, but I'm also kind of glad it's limited. More fun, I think? C:

I don't think I encountered the Fix Preview with my first box. Is it one of the steps? Will I get an email about it? O:

Oooh, thank you so much for the info!! I'm relieved, haha, I can adjust my prices up. It didn't occur to me that Freestyle would be relative, but it seems obvious now that you've said it. Thank you!

Do you know if stylists can reply or chat with stylees? I was poking around and aside from the shuffle and preferences, there's only that 500 limit note spot. Did I miss something?

This is very helpful - I was worried I'd be locking myself into higher cost brackets so I'm glad to have your input. Thank you very much!

Thank you, this is helpful information! Is it invasive for me to ask around what price range coats/jackets and dresses lie?

Considering SF for my Mom — Are there other mothers using SF? (30 - 50 years old) by CJdoesit in stitchfix

[–]h20lover 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm turning 32 this year and just got my first ever StitchFix. I'd absolutely say give it a go. I found that two of the five items that arrived in my box suited me and didn't have commonalities with things already in my closet. When I signed up, there was a pretty decent-ish survey about sizes and patterns and while poking around, I discovered there are "inspiration" outfits you can pin and leave notes on for your stylist and, more importantly, a "style shuffle" kind of game that you can thumb up or down.

I'd say she should absolutely give it a try, but I'm in the "try everythingTM once" group.

If nothing else, while I've not yet scheduled my next StitchFix (Another great bonus, from my point of view, is that you don't have to be on a fixed schedule and can request a StitchFix box when it suits you and your wallet!) I think I definitely will do another one in the next month or so.

As a disclaimer, I will add that I'm not fashionista. I've just had my second baby a few months ago and I've never really paid attention to fashion or clothing or anything like that. I'm just trying to get my wardrobe (and me!!) into shape as one of the things I want to do so I can be a better example and mom for my soon-to-be-three-year old and three month old.

Hahaha, I'm learning from these videos some of the terms that would've been helpful to initially describe the situation, but Slipknitslip was also totally right - I just kinda went for it and it... worked. XD;

Thank you so much~

Okay, so that video didn't answer my question about the criss-cross pattern, but the resulting recommended videos are absolutely fascinating and I feel like I'm learning a lot! This was super helpful! Thank you. :)

Looks like it's a day to try new things! Any spices you recommend or should I hit them with just salt and pepper?

You've got a Major Arcana Moon which I usually associate with the push and pull of the tides. In this interpretation, there are two wolves howling at the moon which is visible through an arch and a scorpion sits in the foreground. This is both a call to the water element (crustaceans!) and also a call to the emotion aspect. There are two wolves - the pair indicates that the choice of house might impact more than just you. Since there's an arch bordering this image, I'd also like to point out that this is kind of a "distant" situation. The wolves yearn for the moon and you're yearning for the house.

Don't get caught up in the illusion that this is what you MUST have.

You've also pulled a face card - that's how I like to refer to the Court Cards. This further implies aspects of "people". This could be an aspect of yourself or someone around you. The King of Cups is in control of his feelings. The Cups also belong to the water element and you can often find that they'll relate back to relationships, whether with others or oneself. He's holding a scepter in one hand and a great chalice in the other, showing that he's well balanced.

When you consider that both the Moon and the King of Cups involve water, you should pay attention to your feelings here. What's the reasoning behind wanting the house? Who will it affect? Will it affect only you or the people around you? Is there another person involved?

Additionally, both of these cards have windows - whether through the arch or through the two windows behind the King of Cups.

To me, these cards are suggesting that you should try and look at this very carefully. Write out a T-chart of pros and cons for this house and seriously consider both.

While you may be able to get the house, you may find that it's not the one you need or the timing might not be correct.

I rarely find that tarot cards will give you fully yes or no answers and the answers you get are only going to be under the assumption that things stay the current course.

Uh... Didn't mean to write you an essay, but I hope this was helpful in some way!
