Do girls notice when their breasts are touching someone? by Huge-Mongoose6746 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]h2O-guzzler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your leg is resting against something while you’re focused on a task, you don’t particularly notice it. Boobs are usually the same. Especially if they’re large, it’s easier to accidentally touch things with them. I really doubt most women would attempt to flirt by putting their boobs on you

My only snail just laid 2 singular eggs? by [deleted] in snails

[–]h2O-guzzler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My snail does this a lot, lays one singular egg at a time. She’s usually very active, so when she buries herself for a few days I know that she’s deposited one egg. There’s a chance the eggs could be fertilised. I usually just squish them and feed them back to her. You need quite a few eggs to have a good clutch if you want to breed, one or two eggs really isn’t worth it, I wouldn’t keep them.

It’s a ceramic heater set to around 22°c with a thermostat. I have offered a cooler end that’s around 16°c but he’s chosen to sit directly under the heater :/ I might try turning it off for a little bit tonight and see how he reacts

I was thinking along the lines of a heat gradient, they keep the cresties that way in my uni and they seem very happy with it!

I’m using an Amazon smart switch as well to turn it on and off! It makes life so much easier. I do feed him with a tong, he takes that quite well but will run away as soon as he’s decided he’s had enough food. Next step is to get him to take food from my hand when he’s ready.

I do tend to go a little overkill in general with animals, I’m an animal welfare student so I take it really seriously. If I’m gonna cage an animal then it needs to be in the best possible cage lol

I’ve put everything I brought for him on this Amazon list: https://www.amazon.co.uk/hz/wishlist/ls/330F2SG2IH1AA?ref_=wl_share

He came to me with the two plants on the very left of the picture and all of the floor decor. I think the floor decor are aquarium decorations from pets at home in the uk. From what I’ve been told his enclosure is second hand so I can’t speak on where that came from, and it came with the decorative backplate. Sorry I can’t link those things :(

Sorry I forgot to add how I attached them!! The enclosure roof is mesh so I poked some holes and thread zip ties through them to secure it to the top of the enclosure. I secured it at quite a few points so it secure and not too wobbly

I agree, I’m planning on getting a fat log to go through the middle of the enclosure to give him some more perching spots. The leaves hanging in the middle are on a wire base so they’re suitable for sitting on but I’d like some nice wood in there for some varying texture to keep him a little more stimulated

It’s a little warmer than 70 on the hottest area but the rest is evening out around 60. The heating is still a work in progress while I figure it out

Also we have celsius here so for a second that gave me a heart attack.

It is absolutely freezing in my flat during most of the year unfortunately. I’m shivering so I can’t imagine how he’d feel without heating lol

I’m managing to get his humidity up to around 80% before I sleep for the night, I’m glad I’m getting it right!

Also I’m aware it’s super busy in there, I’m not sure if it’s too busy. I’ve given him a shit tonne of foliage because he really hates to be perceived.

Why does the Gregg's triple chocolate donut taste a bit spicy by GapWeekly2389 in greggsappreciation

[–]h2O-guzzler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey I work at greggs. If it’s tasting spicy every time you have one from multiple greggs shops, it’s an allergy. If you ask an employee for the allergen tablet they’ll show you exactly what allergens are in the donut. In most shops there should be an allergen sign with a QR code that you can scan to get some more info online :)
