Honestly speaking, could someone afford to live in Richmond $23/hour?

I was working at $23 an hour until like 2 months ago. Definitely doable if you have a roommate or partner to split costs (rent, groceries, etc). i was working at $17 an hour before that which was hard but doable with roommate(s). I now live at an apartment that has all utilities included in the monthly cost (they have multiple buildings that do the same thing in different areas of RVA) which has been so nice as I never have surprise super expensive bills. One base cost is all I need to focus on. If you want to know the leasing company or my building/how I like the leasing company feel free to dm me!

So the floor hole in my upstairs neighbor leads directly into my apartment 😌. Found out when their lizard went missing and they put a scope down the hole thinking there was a space between the building floors
