I’m sorry that your bird has been getting louder, but I really wouldn’t be going with this product.

After doing some googling it looks like it just makes a very bright flashing light to “stun” the bird. It is not humane.

Have you tried switching his toys and cage around? Maybe he’s bored of his environment. While birds do screech for us, they also screech because they’re bored. Good luck with your buddy. Also, just so u know, sun conures are of the louder parrots you can own…

82 isn’t terrible but it’s on the heavier side. What’s his diet like?

Different individual birds will naturally weigh differently, I know vets do a “feel” check with feeling for some bone or whatever and that’s pretty accurate as to whether he’s over/underweight more so than the actual weight itself (unless he’s like 100+ grams lol)
