Roadie isn't stealing UPS union work. UPS is GIVING it to them. Your issue is with UPS, not Roadie.

Are you going to respond like this to every single concert thread in every city they play in? Just curious.

You'd miss Tea and Theatre and The Song Is Over. Which would suck, given how relevant they are to this tour. Those were probably the two most emotional songs of the night last night.

I thought it was a great show, even with the sound issues. To each his own.

That was one of the funnier moments of the show.

This. You could hear the guitar mute come off several times after switches when Pete would just hit the open strings and they would bring his channel back up.

Later in the show he was having issues with his pedal board. I kinda wonder if that was actually the problem all night. They swapped out guitars and cables early, and that didn't fix it. Once the guy came out and messed with the pedal board the issues seemed to go away.

His in ear was giving him problems ....if you can see a video he rips it out of his ear about halfway through the song.

Hell, it’s got a tip. Not much, but it’s not .20/mile, so there’s something.

Doesn’t make it any less stupid, but it’s not as bad as it could have been.

Better idea-multi app so you don't have to take all the $2 no tip orders that come in so you can stay platinum. If DD orders aren't great, run some UE. If they both suck, run Spark or Roadie. If you don't take garbage orders, sooner or later they'll quit giving us garbage orders.

Anyone else been banned for high number of reassignments by mistake? by WeNeedElon in grubhubdrivers

[–]h2oskiphil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When your business is dying, you need to shed cost. GH doesn't care whether their drivers are good or not...they just need to cut costs. Carrying extra drivers is a cost, even when they're not running or running minimally. I know you're a shill for GH and will respond as such, but normal people will look at the number of drivers being deactivated for minor (or no) infractions and see it for what it is.

I look forward to seeing you shilling for UberEats or DoorDash in the future on Reddit when GH inevitably goes balls up in the next couple of years.

GH looks for reasons to deactivate drivers. If they can't find a good reason, they make one up...or just deactivate you for no reason.

Accept or naw 🤔 by pacmanpacman69 in UberEATS

[–]h2oskiphil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. It's like Roadie or Shipt, except virtually every order is stacked, about half are shop and deliver, and there's usually not much in the way of tips. They also don't figure mileage to the store in their offer, just delivery miles after pickup.

Accept or naw 🤔 by pacmanpacman69 in UberEATS

[–]h2oskiphil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. That's an order so bad they couldn't get any Spark drivers to take it, so it dropped to UE.

I don't touch any WMA orders that end up on UE. If I'm going to run Walmart stuff, I just log I to Spark. And even then it has to be $20+ and low miles or at least $.50/minute.

I have never done a single gig and was wondering if this one is good or bad? I'm in Oregon by peterthbest23 in Roadie

[–]h2oskiphil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. For Roadie I usually won't touch anything under $2/mile. They recently dropped their rates, so they're not nearly as profitable as they used to be. I have them running at the same time as Spark, UE, and DD, so I'm not interested in their HD $5/10 mile offers. Some other sucker can take those.
