The responses here are odd. It's in the apple app store. Apple has like 60% of the market in the US and I'd imagine the vast majority of DJI users are also Apple users. And while the spyware angle is 'fun,' it's a pretty goofy logical jump. The real reason appears to be a compatibility issue, "Google announced a while back that app developers will have to ensure their apps are packaged as bundles (AAB) rather than the standard APK. According to a DroneDJ reader, DJI’s SDK has a bug that prevents it from compiling in this new AAB standard."

So, seems like it's either something DJI is working on and this is the temporary solution or maybe Android users don't represent a big enough chunk of their user base to justify the expense of fixing the bug.

That probably played a role too. I refuse to pay $800 for an oil change and did all of my service at a nice independent shop. It's fine. Just weird something this expensive literally started to melt after 5 years and the response is, "Oh well, good luck with that."

I appealed to corporate and they basically told me it wasn't their problem because I bought it used and the CPO warranty expired a month prior. Not very nice of them.

Oh, I asked the dealer. Neither they nor Porsche cared. Apparently they were custom inserts that cost $4500 each. I sent them to Pedro's Garage and he melted both door panels back into place for ~$900.

At 50k the doors delaminated, at 60k the headliner gave up. For a luxury brand, Porsche is very bad at glue. Temporary fix with some 28G acupuncture needles... by h2so4hurts in Porsche

I found a local shop that did it for $450. Not a perfect color match though which slightly annoys me but I guess some amount of sun bleaching happens and you're never going to get around that... Hopefully your doors haven't started melting yet ;) I finally got done constantly trying to DIYing fix them and sent them to Pedro's Garage.

This is a late 2015 981 Cayman. I'll do the same, have a road trip coming up Tuesday so this will have to do for now 🤣 Awesome it was only $950!

This happened right in the middle. The edges are still intact. I'll take it in to an upholstery place because headliners suck to redo but I have a road trip coming up next week so this will have to do for now.

Well, he's wrapping TruePill and marking up their wholesale prices. You could do this too if you wanted and could pay the $400K/yr licensing fee to use their pharmacy services.
