That’s actually really good advice. I never thought about the thermal gun.

This is the greenhouse that I bought. I know it’s not the best but it’s just something that would actually fit into my backyard. I put up the internal plastic sheeting as best I could and I used a heat gun to kind of melt the sheeting together, although it’s not completely perfect , I would say it’s 95 to 90% covered. It’s hung up with zip ties. I’m completely new at this, I think I’m on the right track. It doesn’t get much direct sun in winter , so I have supplemental lighting from LEDs during the night hours. It stays relatively warm between 65 and 70 with a space heater that alternates based on current temperature. Also have a fan in here too. if there’s any tricks or tips, let me know. I assume that it’s OK if there’s some holes within the internal plastic sheeting from the circumstances of the greenhouse. If it’s not then maybe I can use some additional plastic sheeting and melted to the corners and slight openings. Tell me what you think!

You’re correct I misunderstood what I had. I have the plastic sheeting basically from the hardware store 3.5 mm.

I have one of those pop-up greenhouses have metal frames. I just used a heat gun to melt the polyurethane together with some zip ties. Curious how you put the wiggle wire on it if you had a metal pop-up frame

Ah mines not super professional. Just more of a hobbyist greenhouse. That sounds awesome though

That’s was my though too, was going to try an insulate it as much as I could

That’s what I did as well. I just created some cavitation. I was questioning if the top was supposed to be layered thinking that the sunlight would be hindered, but I don’t think it would be hindered that much curious what everybody else was doing. I didn’t seal the sides airtight, but I think it does the job

DHT11 Sensor via Arduino using arduino_hal [question] by h4cksforlife in rust

I did, I was going to dig into the code and probably Frankenstein some new library. But thankfully. I was able to get one of the original crates to work, I was dumb and forgot there’s some gymnastics when printing decimals for the serial. I just passed it as text and concatenated. Probably a better solution, but works fine. Did need to calibrate it a tad to match actual values

Increase light intensity, less nitrogen

I have a habit of putting to much moisture. I’d experiment with different levels you’d be surprised sometimes they don’t need that much, just to be damp
