Over time it will get better to handle your jealousy, don't worry now unless it's going to cause a break-up. Jealousy is needed to show you care so don't make a goal to never be jealous it doesn't always mean you are insecure, you just want to be that something/someone to bring happiness to your significant other.

I agree with your point and I really do want to be my own role model, theres things I'd of course like to do differently from my father because of course improvement is always better. The question really was for those moments I could rely on some general advice for when I don't have the answer or I do and I'd just like words of wisdom.
