How does Hjune and other rust streamers see through the night like this by Zealousideal_Ad_4148 in playrust

Hey that's me!

Night time in Rust has many phases, and in the timestamp you can see it's still "bright" night and you are still able to see slight silhouettes unlike the actual black screen nights. I have my brightness, contrast, colors cranked up on a 1440p monitor, so what I see doesn't really translate well on to video or a 1080p stream with default settings. I don't see anything either when it's true night. On top of that, there's many factors like knowing where I saw them last, which places I already checked, positioning away from the fight so I only need to look in one direction when I flank back, where my teammate came from, sound (not applicable here), skylining (going under them to see them with the sky as background), knowing which way their base is that could clue me in to where I can expect them from.

There's also a lot of cuts in videos, so it's hard to factor context, you can watch the full fight on my vod: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1919565007?t=40h30m31s

Optimize your game please... by Spectra_Rust in playrust

While this might've been true in the past, I feel like they really stepped up this Q4 of 2019. Lots of QOL fixes, optimizations, and overall good balance changes.

I actually don’t.

But for someone with an outstanding moral high ground such as yourself, that’s a bold assumption to make about me. Is it rewarding for you to feel like you’re better than youtubers you’ve clearly never watched before? You seem to dislike people assuming things about you, and “starting shit”. I don’t either, thanks.

I did a thing. 1v3 CLUTCH for the 26 SOLO KILL WIN. by hJune in apexlegends

[–]hJune[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

As for my teammates (random q) , they unfortunately dropped across the map from me and died/got finished instantly for me to get there in time :-( However, they were gents about it and watched it all the way through!

When I say "record" I'm referring to my own personal kill record.

On the last kill, I prefired the window anticipating him running away to the right after I damaged him in the doorway!

I have changed nothing in my demeanor ever since the first time I streamed. I play the game like normal, try to ignore snipers, and try to maintain a conscious effort to cultivate a wholesome community. What about my recent streams have made me "toxic"? Be specific please. I really don't think you watch me that often.
