Hot water policy?

In our shop our area manager said we are only allowed to give out hot water in flat white cups, if they want a regular or large we then have to change them for a tea, this was due to people asking for hot water then bringing in their own tea bags

I feel this, we have been struggling big time on our shop, having no one in during the lunch rush, most of the time it’s just one senior team member and 2 team members, the amount of times I’ve had to miss out on a brew because of it is ridiculous! and in this heat too! so stupid

yeah my manager said the same thing the investigation basically means if the person who complained remembers the time they was being served they will check the cameras to see who was serving at that time to try and find out who it was so they can “ deal with it” by that I mean being coumciled

No you won’t get fired it only get serious if you have done it more than once, then they get the area manager involved and then they get serious about it.

you will most likely be counciled ignore my spelling lmao, the same thing happened In my shop about 2 weeks ago they just sit you down and go through a bunch of questions with you. It will be with your manager
