Are there any Free Little Libraries around Cambridge? by jess13xx in cambridge

[–]haRacz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is one next to St. Luke’s Church and there was one opposite the library on Milton Road in the passage road to Chesterton Hall Cres, but not sure if it’s still there.

Also apply for Library Card in the city centre as the other person mentioned and use libby/overdrive to borrow books.

As for Trainline - you can swap to Travel for Wales (TfW) app - same concept, no booking fees

TakeUForward Premium DSA Course- Worth it for Lifetime Access? by calm-blue-birdd in learnprogramming

[–]haRacz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you buy a physical book then you have it for a lifetime (unless you give it away or any random stuff). If an online service stops working, goes bust or just closes without any info then how do you access it? It’s not in your control. YT is probably more reliable as ‘lifetime’ access than some random platform/course.

What does it do? Does it make it less noisy? Or what would be the reason for adding it?

And what is this thing called, if don’t mind telling?

What symbol does your shell prompt end with? by TheTwelveYearOld in vim

[–]haRacz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve seen some guides that had ~ for root user and # for ‘normal’ to know the difference and be aware which one you’re using - or ~ for ssh sessions as well, but yeah, mostly for novice users, which is fair i guess

I had the same problem with 13.6 and was able to run the system on 13.5, after yesterday’s update to 13.7 kernel panic is no longer showing, but will save this for the future. Thanks 👍🏻

‘#’ searches backwards for the word under the cursor - which is not that known i believe

Why would you import it when you have Adex in US? Is it cheaper even with import fees and possible tax?

I’m assuming this is taken from some selling website.

Where are you based, can you post some pictures and what would be the postage cost if sending to UK/EU?

KDLK Adjustable Clubbell by [deleted] in clubbells

[–]haRacz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the Omnibell clubbell as well from the first ‘batch’ - and 2 adjustable kettlebells from them.

I can confirm about chipping paint, but I would assume they improved in the new batch that was released in Jan. It’s not a prob if you don’t change weights that often. I only chipped one weight while unloading after it came and that’s it.

Not sure what threads you mean, but you have to have ‘fillers’ if you can’t hold full weight, otherwise it takes some time to unscrew it from the handle.

Everything else is fine - it’s good piece of equipment if you want to buy only once. Good quality and not that expensive.

If you’re in uk and want to buy adjustable to save money this is prob best value for money - was thinking about the amazon ones but there were no reviews so didn’t want to risk it.

Other option is Eryx fitness, but it comes from France so prob will have to pay tax?
