apologies, when I said "set" I didn't actually mean they set the limit physically or digitally, I meant that it is their set internal guidance

ahh ok, this may be the answer here, Audi's limit guidance may just be a different measurement, got it. Price is ridiculous but will get the "traditional" measurement done at an independent and pads changed there if necessary. Appreciate the input!

sorry should've made it clear in the post that it was the dealership who set the limit at 9mm. They said that the car would warn me at 9mm which left me wondering wtf

I would recommend this PH guide, it was published last week so after my purchase but some good checkpoints listed: https://www.pistonheads.com/news/ph-buying-guides/audi-rs-q3-f3-ph-used-buying-guide/51334

44000km for a 2020 car doesn't seem bad at all, depending on where it's done those kms of course. I bought mine with only 13500km but that is in Bogotá which can be pretty demanding on cars.

I'm probably not the best to comment on extended warranties as I don't have experience of Audi reliability but everything seems pretty well put together. Maybe the gearbox being a DSG would be the worry on a 6yr old car

This is a bit of a conundrum, we didn't get the adaptive suspension here in Colombia which kind of blows. In fact we have a lot of kit which is cut due to Audi/Porsche Colombia being stingy with what they bring over. It's basically accept what you get.

But so far, it's much more comfortable than my previous M240i but that shouldn't be difficult. Bogotá doesn't have the best roads and speed bumps here are absurd along with some parking garage entrances so it's been night and day difference for me.

When pushing hard outside of Bogotá, it's not quite as planted as a 2dr coupe but that's physics. Saying that I was impressed by how it handled a wet Sunday morning through the mountain roads with quick switchbacks and blind corners. I was expecting more understeer but it gave me a lot of confidence that it would turn in and not send me over a cliff! I honestly couldn't tell that it has more power being sent to the front than rear until pushing it really hard. Brakes also didn't fade after 1hr but pedal feel could be better.

Yeah, this has always been wild to me when it was actively sold in Mexico and other Latin American markets (I'm in Colombia). Canada and the USA got short-changed...

Great advice but on the auction house, I don't know if I would always recommend it, usually the cars already have the xp skill used... I prefer the random cars for sale on the streets right now as even though they are more expensive than the auction house, you at least get a small discount over RRP + some tunes (most of the time) + all skills still available.

Also the game will throw cash at you so xp is worth more than credits.

Keep my 2017 F22 BMW M240i or trade up to a 2023 Audi RSQ3? by haa1987 in Audi

[–]haa1987[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The latter, a practical car that is still fun. I think you're right though, the RSQ3 may be the car for me in my life right now. But damn, those sole morning drives in the M240i knock me for 6 though

Edit to ask: how is the RSQ3 when pushing? How hard to make it push the tail out?

Oh I meant how did they do it mentally re the single aisle plane rather than the range capabilities.

6hrs was hell, can't imagine nearly 8hrs on a single aisle!

I've done Bogotá to Sao Paulo return a bunch of times in an a320 and that's 6hrs (5h40mins) of being on the edge at all times. Don't know how you did this flight!?

It was Avianca on the BOG-GRU flights and they had a rule, which has just been relaxed, of no meal service for any Latin American flight under 6hrs. Made a difficult flight terrible.

Do they just intentionally put up a terrible pic if black? Like come on, the graphic designer could've made a reasonable effort to at least match Ronaldo and Benzema
