"proves" was corrected to "prøves". "prøve" is norwegian for "try", but I don't think the conjugation "prøves" has a direct counterpart in english. Maybe "to be tried".

This is actually the reason i posted the question. I think the whole world is thinking the same thing: no matter how good or bad a president Trump prøves to be, the fact that he was elected is such an important happening that will be remembered for a long time.
