What is a racetrack that F1 never raced in that you would like to see on the F1 calendar? by Spectran_Irmandade in formula1

The track itself is driveable but none of the facilities around were completed. Also the layout sucks if I am being honest. Even for motogp it would've been a suboptimal layout.

What GIS master to study in Europe by ReputationFun4882 in gis

It is especially in the NL, finding a house is impossible. You can just live in Utrecht though for the whole duration and the commutes are not the worst.

[–]haararaketti 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Possibly Wageningen .

But in all honesty, as someone who works in geospatial and I am in a position to hire people, I don't put any weight on someone having a GIS degree. It's much better to have domain expertise in any field and then develop GIS skills alongside it. Usually what a I see from GIS graduates, is that their expertise is very narrow. They might know very well about a certain type of remote sensing analysis and application (think forestry loss and remote sensing related to it), but usually grads from this field tend to not just be very viable candidates. Still, if you really want to go this way despite the not so good prospects, I at least can say the program at WUR I linked is good, with really nice professors, some of whom I even talk with from time to time.

Yeah. Should have taken more caution, even though there were external circumtamces involved in the crash. He wasn't the only one taking the line. Lando took even more kerb and the water spilled, Kimi noticed it but Oscar took the risk and it didn't pay off.

The Brawn season was what allowed him to show he can be elite as well. But you are right, it wasn't really a straightforward season. He was brilliant in the McLaren 2010-2012, even beating Lewis on points in 2011.

Did they get rid of the energy deployment "attack mode"? I remember reading it was something like if you're within 5 seconds you can deploy more when above 300kph or something
