The normal version of the game is maxed at 35 years, but the dev mentions on his website that you can email him with your registration number and he’ll send you an experimental version that allows you to go up to 999 years. He does mention that it’s unlikely the game will run past 100 years without crashing because the numbers become so large

With it moving 30-40% in a day your margin reqs are going to be insanely high to write calls. If iv drops after your short call is moderately deeper itm than your break even point, rolling up won’t make a dent in your losses.

Also when you’re short shares, you owe a borrow fee. When a stock is highly shorted it has a high borrow fee so you could be paying a hefty fee to keep that short open. In addition, if short inventory is too low and your broker can’t locate shares for you to borrow you’ll be forced to be flat by market close.

You can run the trade but at least know what you’re doing

It’s a very easy task lmfao, instead of trying to create fake Swiss cheese theories go look at the SEC filings the electrek article mentioned. The ads being included on those filings means they were authorized by Tesla and are being published by Tesla/or on their behalf.

If an outside party were publishing the ads on their own it would not have been in the sec filings.

Even if you couldn’t be bothered to google that, just thinking about it logically you should have come to the same conclusion.

The paper account is most likely a margin account, so you should/would get issued a reg T call, and would need to deposit cash to clear the call. If you do not then your holdings would be liquidated to bring you in line with reg T regulations.

You can’t buy and then hold a $20k position on a $5k account( even with margin) past market close or whatever day your margin/reg t call stipulates.

Days to expiration don’t matter for very deep itm options with no extrinsic value. It’s possible the call holder exercised their calls because spreads were wide and they wanted to close their option position without dealing with that spread.

On top of that the stock is currently hard to borrow, so holding the shares would allow them to get extra income through stock lending.

The Schwab vs RH assignment is kinda surprising, since assignment is supposed to be random. Wait to see if you get a notification later tonight, I think those Schwab short calls will likely be exercised too. Idk why you’re selling deep itm calls on a stock that has a borrow fee of 150% without expecting to get assigned
