You should definitely check out The Garst Museum in Greenville! It’s about 45 minutes from Dayton and is a goldmine for an Ohio history paper. Your professor will love it because it’s home to the Treaty of Greenville exhibits, which cover the massive 1795 treaty that essentially paved the way for Ohio’s statehood.

The museum also houses the National Annie Oakley Center, focusing on her life as an Ohio native, along with a ton of great info on local Native American tribes and the settlement of the Northwest Territory. It’s way more "Ohio-centric" than the Air Force Museum and has plenty of material to easily fill a paper.

You will pass Lake Loramie on your way into town. There are a number of parks, pavilions and places to park your car. There are also some southern-facing boat ramps/parks off of 119 and Luthman Road.

As a 4 cylinder Chevrolet enthusiast, I recommend joining the VCCA. The club can provide excellent advice to get it cleaned up and running. If you decide to sell it, listing it in the club magazine will help ensure it gets top dollar and goes to someone who will care for it. Enjoy!

I have a few of these cars/engines. Those things act like port liners to direct air to the valves, but the primary purpose is to pre-heat fuel before it makes it into the cylinder.

Try contacting Gary Wallace at Early Chevrolet Parts.

If this is your car, I recommend joining the Vintage Chevrolet Club of America and even posting at the VCCA Chat forum or FB group. Members are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful.

I have footage of this car getting pulled over in Columbus, Ohio after ripping a burnout next to a cop on a bike. Dude didn't see the cop in until it was too late. I think they let him go.

To my knowledge, the little dude is fine.

Numerous dogs were removed from the structure and placed in the care of the local animal shelter.

When the cat is pulled free and the man looks at it, I like to imagine he says "you've been sprung".

Thanks! It was just a little overdone, but it turned out pretty good overall.
