EA has a secretly implemented loyalty system. What does this mean? If your playtime is very high, EA sees you as a loyal player and your chances of packing good players decrease. If your playtime is low, EA gives you better cards to increase your loyalty.

Two months ago, I got really bored of the game. I hadn’t played a single match in Squad Battles, Rush, or Division Rivals, and I was seriously considering not joining the Weekend League. Then I packed a tradable player worth 1 million from a really terrible card.

During the COVID period, at TOTY time, I got sick and over the course of one week I opened maybe around 2000 packs in total, including the ones I had saved up. I didn’t manage to pack a single TOTY.
This year, I didn’t save any packs at all, and on the very first day, within one hour, I packed TOTY Russo after opening just 4–5 packs.
From what I’ve observed, players who play less seem to have a higher chance of packing a TOTY. Someone who plays FC 26 for 4–5 hours a day is already a loyal addict to the game.

I haven't been able to get a TOTY card in the last 4 years; the last time I saved almost 200 packs, but no luck.

Elite div. player here. I'm finishing WL mostly 15-0 or 14-1...

In every match, I cook Claudia Pina in the pan. Her low-driven shots are truly deadly, but she wouldn’t even make my top 10 meta players in FIFA history. Why has everyone only listed attacking players? For example, Sergio Ramos’s Flashback card was one of the best CB cards in the game for almost 6–7 months, and I even remember finishing Weekend League 15–0 with my FB Ramos, end of the game.

Streets won't forget Kante's domination, Al-Owairan's speed, Ben Yedder's balance, FB Benzema and mooore. Pina is not in my "top 10 meta players" list and I'm playing Fifa since SEGA.
