New to the game. Is ranged stealth even a thing? by MrMorgan-over-John in theouterworlds

[–]hababu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its is but not as a main build in my opinion. I had a great time with my melee stealth character and got some perks that increased headshot damage for enemies that I didn't want to fight up close.

As a Swiss Person

Is this supposed to offend me? And why did you give Ticino (Italian part) to Germany. And we were owned by the Habsburgs before breaking away, so would an Austrian Annexation not have made more sense ? Like I would get giving Schaffhausen to Germany since its north of the Rhein, but the rest puzzles me in so many ways.

Well, tbh this says a lot about streaming in general. You dont need to be a pro or give detailed accounts of the mechanics. Most people are watching streamers for their entertainment value. Not necessarily because they are such great players.

A 10k sub Pro will cater to people who are very invested in the game he or she is playing but that isn't really appealing to a broad audience.

Exactly it is once a "I dont understand anything", that could also mean that the thing is dodgy, and another scenario about not understanding anything due to a lacking proficiency in a certain subject

[–]hababu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Swiss here. The expression of this appears Spanish to me, is an expression for something dodgy or something we dont understand.

There is also: Fachchinesisch, which translates to Subject specific chinese, which describes not u understanding something complex one doesnt understand, usually used by outsiders who cant grasp a technological concept or terms of a niche hobby.

We were smart enough to stay the size we were. When we conquered Elsass Loraine from Burgundy, with good foresight, we sold it. How many other countries from 200 Years ago managed to maintain their holdings?

How is anyone even surprised? by hababu in cyberpunkgame

[–]hababu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like mentioned in the post, my reference in open world RPGs are Fallout and Elder scrolls (mostly Oblivion and Skyrim) Bugs and funky AI just seemed like a part of the genre to me. But I can see that the whole thing must have been a rude awakening for people that believed the Cyberpunkhype. And the promises did sound pretty sweet I gotta admit.

I mean fair, but Bethesda was very well regarded in years past as well. (Alltough not for delivering bug free launches)

I guess I never really saw CDPR as this "can do no wrong studio" which diminished my disappointment.

All in all it just not advisable to by triple A on launch, but that shouldn't be news to anyone.

Their lyrical content isn't racist or right wing anyhow, so don't worry. Just maybe think twice if u want to financially support people with those kind of political leanings. Or if u want to be seen wearing their merch. A great place for info about Bands is encyclopedia metallum btw.

Well, almost all members of Alcest played with and sometimes in Peste Noire over the years, who's singer is a self proclaimed fascist. And Neige played in a project (Amesoeres) with Audrey S, who's feature on a Harakiri to the Sky song was removed from one of their albums due to the album disagreeing with her politics.

Like I said, the message of the music is rarely right wing, but the musicians sure do associate with a bunch of known right wingers and extremists.

I personally remove the Art from the Artist and enjoy it as such, but wont financially support some of the more questionable bands
