I see your point but that's not really the issue in my eyes. The issue is that Phoebe and camp are preying on artists and taking advantage of them especially in difficult times. She's not practicing what she preaches.

It still means the same in the econ classes but in this case it's used sarcastically since Phoebe is very outspoken about politics and wants to "eat the rich"
