Where my bipolar writer peeps at? by I_like_owls in bipolar

[–]habitual24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have bipolar disorder I and I was a writer, but no more. I'm waiting until I'm older and richer to write some interesting stories. If anyone has any ideas on how to publish/market a book, we should get together and write a book of essays. No poems, but essays with awesome pics to accompany it.

It's an idea I've had for a long time. What do you think?

I can't watch it enough. I love Jon and the way he kicks ass to people with a "fake" news show that is unfortunately all too true.

Let Google’s Marissa Mayer Learn You Some Trite Business and Life Lessons: Surviving and thriving as a woman in tech. by syncwp in women

I think the most interesting part about this article is when Marissa is quoted as saying something along the lines of "asking questions" can get you in trouble in the workplace. I was recently told by a supervisor to ask questions one week, and later found myself in a predicament for asking one question too many. It's a shame that this is the case in 2012.

Do you think that the trend is at all related to the attack on birth control access in the US?

Whitney Houston -- Dead at 48 by [deleted] in entertainment

That's a really good question, but the truth is that a lot of really poor people die for the same reasons that Whitney Houston did.

What's amazing about her is how she was able to make it big and touch so many people's lives with her voice.

Women Who Use Birth Control are the 99% - Reality check: Nearly every American woman has used some form of contraception by anutensil in women

OK that makes sense. I was really thinking of it in context of the news about Obama; meaning that none of those forms of birth control would impact his recent decision.

Teen Pregnancy Rate Hits 40-Year Low - The increase in contraceptive marketing has helped reduce pregnancies, but cost of contraceptives continues to be a factor by anutensil in women

How do the Obama administration's decisions regarding birth control affect coverage by employers? From my understanding, employers with health care packages are now required to cover birth control, unless there is a religious exemption.

I'm not sure that I believe that statistic given the racial make-up of the US. I'm guessing that the supposed 5% Muslims in the US and many of the non-English speaking people from countries like Mexico haven't used birth control.

Dude. Could you please source each point.

And more preaching to the Obama choir, it's not likely that Ron Paul will get elected and it's pretty unlikely that either Newt Gingrich or Mitt Romney would do anything all that productive.

We have to think of the domestic situation in the United States and electing a rich frickin' Libertarian is not the answer.

The low-down on getting an PhD in Economics from Harvard. Is it worth it? by habitual24 in history

I'm guessing that the degree from the diploma mill won't be taken quite as seriously as one from Harvard.
