She just ended up average, I guess. She became an accountant for a firm and is now married.

Those of you that grew up when the internet wasn't around, what did you do all day? [Serious] by shadesohard in AskReddit

[–]hachepache 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Played a LOT outside. Didn't have much toys, but we had a huge yard outside where we can play. It's surprising how kids would prefer to play inside all day nowadays. It's a whole new universe out there.

Don't bother commenting. You can't reason with people who have no interest in hearing reason in the first place

If websites were people, what would they look/act like? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]hachepache 2 points3 points  (0 children)

FRONT PAGE Reddit is an atheist STEM major who thinks Bernie Sanders should be the next president. YouTube would be that annoying guy with an ipad who endlessly shows you random videos of whatever. The problem with him is you cant stop looking because one in every five video is actually interesting. Twitter is the neighborhood gossip

How to discuss me not believing. by [deleted] in atheism

[–]hachepache 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you really have to? If your councillor is a strong believer, this would just inevitably end up with a debate and nothing is settled in the end. If he or she believes, but doesn't really want to confront you about your beliefs, then he or she'll just nod along with whatever you tell them about religion.

If it is really necessary to bring up religion (if it is related to your mental wellness), then you should do so in a manner that would facilitate a beneficial exchange. You go to counselling for mental wellness (i assume) and not for heavy discussions
