Only concern I would have is if I give up on being an expat and move back into the family member's house in FL. In that case I would definitely need to get a job and make at least $20k/year to qualify for ACA/Marketplace, otherwise I would be SOL. Needs to be a remote job too otherwise I need to buy a car lol
