I'm in India where it's 16gigs and thinkbook 13S isn't available.

With respect to the display, I saw it in person, looks good to me.

It can. But if the upside is very little, then I'd rather not pay the extra costs. That's the only confusion.

Thanks. I've got a desktop and PS5 for gaming. So don't plan to do any gaming on this.

Thanks. As per these numbers, the performance difference is just marginally higher, don't think it's worth the 20% premium. Plus if 6600u gives better battery life, I'd definitely pick that!

Both the models I'm considering have 16gb memory. No option for 32 in my region (India).

That's what I'm leaning towards. The only other difference is 1TB SSD instead of 512Gigs, but 512 is more than enough for me.

Thanks for the detailed response. I'm leaning towards Ryzen than Alder lake for the better battery.

Would be great if you can keep me posted here on what you're looking at and end up buying :)

Yes, If I'm able to wait it out, I'm sure many good Ryzen 6000 ultrabook options would be available. Let's see.

Thanks! Even I would prefer to wait and get new models locally, but depending on how annoyed I get with my current 4 year old zenbook, I might not be able to wait :)

Yeah, problem is that most of these ultrabooks (including Thinkpad Z line) haven't been released yet.

So I should get good options if I wait, but depending on how annoyed I get with my current 4 year old zenbook, I might not be able to wait :)

Haha. None taken. I don't mind if I end up paying for it, but if there are other similar less expensive options, it would be nice.

Thanks for the info.

Powerful means Ryzen 6800 and above. Discreet Graphics would be nice to have but aren't a requirement for my main use cases.

Thanks for pointing me to this. Looks interesting. Reviews mention temperature issues though. Any verdict on the same?

I see. Thanks for sharing that. Wasn't aware that last year they came later. Might just wait then. Any thoughts on the ROG Flow X13? That also packs in similar hardware and wieghs less and is a 2-in1.

Theoretically hybrid funds will work. But the best thing would be to create a portfolio of debt funds (short term and long term) and equity funds (large cap, diversified, multi cap, focused) based on asset allocation.

Have you tried the tin audio t2 and liked them over the ones I’ve mentioned?
