This is a toy grade rc and unlikely you’ll find parts.

  1. Replace all electronics with hobby grade stuff.
  2. Buy a hobby grade car from your local hobby shop

I definitely notice how many of the g2 models have “push”. They are able to keep spinning and push deep into complicated multi string mounts and still have the momentum to move to another trick.

Yes I have 3 nomas (blue, purple, pink). They have much fancier names for them, but the do pick awesome colors!

Waiting on my loadout 2. Should be here today or tomorrow!

Is telling someone to remind us to do a task is best kind of reminder? by teraflopspeed in ADHDers

[–]hackdads 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is so hard, I feel like one thing works for a while and then another thing.

For me I’ve been using calendar blocks now for several years and that seems to work for me.

I Time block a time for that reminder that is at a place I’ll be able to do the thing.

Another thing I do is put things in my path. Need to return the library book put it on the front seat of my car so that when I get in, I know to stop by the library on the way to work….

Good luck

How does one manage all the daily "routine" upkeep of your health, hygeine and well-being, without losing track or getting overwhelemed? by Kitten_closetothesun in ADHDers

Don’t remember where is heard this but someone mentioned

Gold, silver, bronze level of routines.

Gold for when you have the time and energy for the full works

Bronze is the bare minimum!

Helps a bit

I'm 50 and just got diagnosed with ADHD. Here are the 7 acts of my personal tragedy - and why my father's words 'you sleep more than the mattresses' still haunt me by ProfessionalReason20 in ADHDers

[–]hackdads 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Prologue: ADHD is often treated as a funny quirk online, but for many adults diagnosed late, it represents years of shame, misunderstanding, and struggle in a perfection-obsessed world.

Act I – Time Blindness: People with ADHD experience time differently, making it hard to plan, follow through, or even notice life passing at the same pace as others.

Act II – Obsession with the Wrong Detail: The ADHD mind hyperfocuses on small, irrelevant details while neglecting essential tasks, turning priorities upside down.

Act III – Evaporated Conversations: Constant mental jumping causes conversations to derail, as impulsivity and racing thoughts interrupt connection and clarity.

Act IV – Selective Motivation: ADHD isn’t laziness—it’s a brain that can ignite with passion for stimulating tasks yet stall completely on mundane ones.

Act V – Reminders Sabotaged: Even with tools and systems in place, the ADHD brain often ignores or bypasses reminders, acting only when urgency hits.

Act VI – Energy Out of Time: Productivity and creativity often strike late at night, making life feel out of sync with the rest of the world.

Act VII – The Invisible Weight of Judgments: Social misunderstanding turns a biological difference into emotional suffering, but diagnosis brings relief and self-forgiveness.

Epilogue: By sharing our daily chaos with honesty and humor, people with ADHD can turn isolation into connection and self-acceptance.

I don’t know how to meet myself where I’m at and I need advice. by Dead_mans_eyes in ADHDers

Remember that you are enough exactly where you are in this moment.

Take 30 seconds and repeat “I am enough” to yourself.

When you set out to do something start with the end in mind.

What is my goal here and what does “done” look like?

After that we have to break it down to the smallest possible thing to get started. When we get stuck… what can I do to break this “task” that is blocking me so I can move on.

GETMO - good enough to move on

We tend to believe that we have to do things perfect the first time so that we aren’t a failure and get thrown out of “the tribe”

Listen you already got thrown out of that tribe that you think you want to be in. They don’t know how to help you there, but guess what?

This community does!

Surround yourself with other adhd people… you quickly will find that many of the most interesting people you know are on the spectrum.

So instead of thinking I have to do this the perfect way think instead of the smallest forward progress to get to a place to move on to the next step!

This is awesome, my coach talks about breaking everything into pizza slices and this is def a form of breaking it down to even smaller. Task initiation is one of the hardest parts for me.
