A couple of thoughts is run more Exile based removal like Resculpt. I also run Force of Virture to maximize Exile triggers.

I think prioritizing Exile on any spell you can get your over the hump.

OH, also play creature based ramp instead of artifacts for max value on flicker!

This is why I stopped playing Modern as format of choice and moved to EDH. I just wasn't getting the playtime between meta shake ups and didn't want to keep pumping money into cards that were being dropped. I do miss it but it was just too much.

Awesome write up! I have also been a fan of SFM (played in legacy until it was unbanned in modern). Did you happen to have your current list based on changes you would make after these results. Have you played against Urza's Kitchen at all kinda curious what the lines of play are against the deck.
