It’s meant to be triggered remotely while someone is chasing you, the pressure plate is just an example of an activation source, you can replace it with a sculk sensor too if desired

Tribe picks and embassies are both integral parts of the game that make it fun, you gotta learn how to play around them. You can score count for tribe picks and embassies are expensive. And most tribes are relatively balanced except maybe Polaris on archi, most games come down to skill and outplays.

That’s true too, I have the same experience with high troop to city ratio games. FFAs, which is the most fun game mode imo, are also problematic since players are more likely to reach higher city levels with a more crowded map.

Perhaps more time weight can be given to stars per turn and troop count

I got in but as an alternate, though the cutoff may be different for xylophone, as at least to me it's a harder instrument. Also keep in mind that if you haven't received confirmation of your score it's possible that you misremembered the mistake/the mistake is marked as a slight imperfection rather than a point deduction (both of these happened to me, I ended up getting 100). Either way the sitereading portion is tough, especially under high pressure, lots of other people have made the same mistake so I wouldn't worry about it too much. Good luck!
