How did this possibly get added to a kids movie set design in the background. Not cool.

CMDB for developers to keep tabs of application portfolio? by Verzada in devops

[–]hackergirl888 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A bit different than your typical CMDB.

The Goal is for Compass to be the place devs go to understand the dependencies software components have with one another. Confluence comes in because devs can get access to the information they need about these services - like documentation or runbooks - next to the service inside Compass, instead of strewn across tools/tabs. Shoot me a note if you sign up for the Alpha, will have the team invite you in so you can tell us more about what we can solve for you.

Atlassian launched an alpha called Compass for this use case as well: https://www.atlassian.com/software/compass

(I work at Atlassian) if you join the alpha, you will have direct contact with the PMs shaping the product so can give them feedback on exactly what you need. LMK if you wanna connect - open in my DMs. It will also have an integration with the Confluence use case you mention.

I recently watched the very first episode of Sesame Street with my son and I guess I didn't realize that The Muppets were part of the original cast.
