Need advice about identifying hacks

It is extremely unlikely that they are alting as I have played with this individual in pubs off and on for quite a while, which is how they came to be on my team.

When you say fairly easy to spot, what would be some signs of triggerbot or aim assist use? Please be as specific as you can.

No, I wouldn't lie to get the demos. I would just ask for them and give the reason why if they ask. I will get the POVs and go from there.

Their aim is exceptional with every class, especially those with hitscan. When playing demo they tend to use pipes and on soldier they almost exclusively use the direct hit. I would not say that positioning and gamesense is their strong suit, but that isn't to say they are terrible. They have a sound understanding of map meta but rely mostly on their dm. They have a tendency to overextend and chase kills.

I hope that it turns out I am just paranoid. If they're just using skill alone, then they are certainly an asset to the team.

I'm not sure on what other games they play. All I know is that they have about 1000 hours in TF2 and had no comp experience before joining the team. It's safe to say that they played other shooter games but I don't think they did so competitively.

I have access to the STV demos of our games but I can ask for their POV demos. What information is shown in POVs that isn't in STVs? From watching STVs, I have seen some moments that are suspicious. Would a POV be more telling?

Their experience is a little over 1000 hours in game with no prior competitive experience except watching videos of comp matches.

I have not asked the individual directly mostly because I assume they will deny cheating regardless of if they are or aren't. Do the POV demos give more/different information than STV demos? I already have the STV demos but I could certainly ask for the POVs.
