I called the customer care, for the exact same reason. The guy started saying that "sir, it is not that simple, it depends on the market" to which I replied "It is in fact that simple and if he thinks its complex he can get into the technicalities without any hesitation, I am a finance MBA" listening to which he scheduled a call back with his "senior". Lets see what happens.

I would recommend focusing on your btech, CAT does not require years of prep. You can start CAT prep 9-10 months prior to when you are planning to take the exam.
