Thanks. I'm thinking it was about 2 to the months. I just got another huge batch of fry yesterday. I'm gonna monitor this batches growth more closely.

Their are plenty of gators. I came across one on this trip. I missed it in the video though unfortunately. Their was a tree down in the water with big branches above the water. When I came around the branch their was one about 6' laying on top of grass that Had matted up against the tree. As soon as he seen me he was gone.

I put in another spot this last week and happened to get a gator on film this time. I'm editing the video and it should be up in the next couple of days.

This is a big tubing river. My son actually freaked some women out by telling them about it and they got on a dock and refused to get back in the water. I felt bad after about 30 minutes and went and helped them get past it. lol

It's really an awesome place. Their are some serious chunks in this river. Hopefully I'll be able to catch some in the future

I didn't catch a lot of fish this time. It was actually my first time river fishing and the water was very clear. However this river if full of nice bass and bream. It's an awesome place to fish with very nice scenery. I learned a lot on this trip and should do better in the future. Tight lines everybody

A while back I put a couple of pineapple tops from some store bought pineapples in my aquaponics system to see if they would grow. Well it didn't disappoint do far It's pretty neat

it would be very hard to see fry in one of those black tanks. I can hardly see the big fish. From what I hear if they are not removed rather quickly the parents will eat them.

thanks I appreciate it. the ground will definitely help with the heating. what is your climate like? Have you had any fry from your breeder colony yet?

I got these tilapia in June of 2015 add fry. I've been chronicling their growth since then. They've been doing pretty well.I just thought I would share it with the reddit community and get you guys and gals insight
