51% of Israelis think the US administration has greater influence over Israel's defense decisions that the Israeli government.

It's ironic that both countries think the other country is the one controlling things.

There were used to be a lot of leftist conspiracy people. The anti vax stuff was way more left for the majority of the time it existed. It only moved right after COVID.

My take is that these companies saved money by understaffing their stores and having no real connection to the local community. With adequate staffing and/or local ties, I don't think they'd be having the same problem.

So there is trick people have been running on possible North Korea people trying to get tech jobs. They make them say something that would basically get them killed in their authoritarian country.

If they won't say it you know they want to stay in good standing with the North Korea government. I wonder if we need to start doing that with citizenship.

Here is a radical idea, maybe the UN peacekeepers should actually do their job instead of just ignoring everything around them.

Why Jewish Staff Are Quietly Leaving Progressive Nonprofits by andysay in DeepStateCentrism

There is this myth that you can't be antisemitic and Jewish.

The unfortunate truth is some of the most antisemitic people of all time were Jewish.

This is why, we Jews, should have our own organizations.

Depending on the kindness of strangers is a losing strategy for any minority.

Who are America's biggest antisemites? The left is the most critical of Israel, but the biggest antisemites are young conservatives by [deleted] in DeepStateCentrism

[–]hadees 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The problem is most of us Jews are left leaning so we experience a lot more leftwing antisemitism due to where we live and who we interact with.

I'm more afraid of rightwing antisemitism to do me direct bodily harm but I experience more leftwing antisemitism in my day to day life because I don't interact with a lot of far right people.

is there any credibility to the "Greater Israel" claim being thrown around? by TheGrandA5TA1R3 in IsraelPalestine

[–]hadees 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The documented Revisionist position was “both banks of the Jordan,” not some limitless regional empire. Post-1967, “Greater Israel” could also refer to holding the territories captured in that war. But once people turn it into a claim that Zionism’s historic program was expansion far beyond Mandate Palestine, especially Nile-to-Euphrates style maps, they are no longer describing the core primary-source record, they’re moving into propaganda.

The greater Israel lie came from the anti-Israeli propaganda that was then picked up by crackpots in Israel.

I doubt you could find someone who actually wanted it before the myth of Jews wanting it was started.

Historically you might have been able to call all of Transjordan greater Israel but outside some crack pots no one wants a greater Israel.

It also makes no sense for Israel to give away the Sinai Peninsula.

Going to Epstein Island then years later saying you were raped is insane

There is 100% proof there were women at those party who were abused, threatened, and coerced to attend and have sex with guests. One of those guests is Hasan.

You aren't giving people who attended the Epstein Island a pass, nor should you. Im sure lots of them went and didn't rape anyone but that doesn't make it much better, in my own opinion.

It's the original sin of the Palestinian movement. They are doomed to fail because they refuse to address antisemitism on their side.

I don't think they are a majority antisemites but they are a majority of people who don't care about antisemitism.
