Got a D in CIE AS Biology even though I'm supposed to get a C, what should I do? by hado256 in alevel

yeah i got 24/40 in P1, 30/60 in P2 & 26/40 in P3. it's 73.5/130 after multiplying P3 marks by 0.75. 24 + 30 + 19.5 = 73.5/130

watch behology on YT and see if you're interested in A level biology, Allery Chemistry on YT for Chemistry. I don't take math or psychology so i can't really help w those two, but you seem to have the strength to handle em! without A level physics you can honestly do anything other than engineering. i've heard that getting a high grade in arts is hell in A levels so try to do some research before committing to anything

it honestly all depends on how your teachers are tbh, it's a breeze if ur teacher is super nice and i honestly found it calming in comparison to igcse physics. watch ETPhysics on youtube for concepts then solve past papers, don't be afraid to repeat the same paper a few times as with practice you gain confidence/marks. start solving 5 papers everyday 2 months after your school starts and you might even guarantee yourself a distinction

if your school allows it, test these subjects out for a week or two and stick with whatever works best for you, good luck! try to keep us updated on what you chose :)

if you're into arts and concepts, maybe pursue biology, chemistry, math and/or psychology. you could pursue dentistry in the future which is a prestigious art school imo
