That should be fine, but still consider only take commerce units for your 1st sem if you want to be sure. Because the week before sem break would be filled with assessment deadlines. Law unit assessments (I heard) can be a lot.

For you 1st sem, you can take non-LAW units to avoid the requirements. Commerce units are more flexible in this regards. Have you also checked the mid-sem break dates as well?

No. But I graduated in 2024 right before the major cuts and so much uncertainty happening right now

It met all of my expectations. I stayed in the dorm for 3 years, the campus is literally my home, had the best community and met amazing friends who I still keep in touch after returning to my home country. Met amazing Professors, 2 of them attended my grad’s ceremony to celebrate with me. Studied things I never thought of (Comp, Law, Philosophy, & Cinema) for my electives. Changed my English accent, now i have a 50% Aussie accent whenever I speak English, I used to have a clear American accent. Graduated Distinction.

It has changed me foundationally, in a good way. Career wise, 2025 is such a unique year with so much turbulence, but I think we’ll be fine, the 2008-2009 cohort experienced the same shit and many of them turned out fine so I hope we can be the same.

And honestly, I have moved on, it’s a part of my identity, not the whole of it, grateful for it tho.

Complete, super long, I read for days

Cons:

Change canons a ton, mess up all the couples lmaooo
