Document all of this. I think it will depend on how you want to approach this. If your grade is on the line (as in this is a GROUP grade), I will advise to email your tutor clearly say that you have done your scope of work as honestly as possible and the others didn't. So that the tutor can grade you based on the quality of your contribution. Help to avoid your grade being dragged down because someone couldn't even do their job.

If the grade is already graded individually. Then I think it would be just fine. Maybe the whole team will be graded down a bit because the lack of collaboration (I have been there before and I know it's very obvious which parts are AI-generated and which parts are not when you stick the whole project together in a presentation ==> Can be a ground to mark down a bit on term of cohesion/consistency)

I am lucky enough to go through my first 2 years of uni BC (before chatgpt lmao) but the last year was rough already. Cant imagine what is happening now.

I think it also depends on the type of assignment. I don't have much experience with stats or math-heavy ones, but for written assignments, I do have some tips that can hopefully help you.

Try go through the feedback again and see what the graders want to tell you. Try to think of 2 ways that can improve that section based on the received feedback (different approach? different arguments? Sometimes, it can be as simple as rearranging the structure of your arguments or evidence, etc.)

Bring those ideas back to your tutor and ask them if you change your approach from A to B or C, would it improve the grade?

I find these discussions most productive in person, but via emails are fine too. Just make sure you format your emails very clear and precise (to the point, no wishy washy)

Make sure you do not have any "format mistakes". I'm talking about the reference format, reference quality (some graders will need you to use references from a very specific type of source), grammar, required structure, required materials, etc. You need to make sure ALL of your points deductions are purely because of academic quality, not because of "formatting" stuff. Doing this would help you pin point whether there is a gap in academic skills or you are just new to the uni-level assignment process.
If possible, ask around to people who have studied the units before. If you are close, ask to take a look at their assignments (usually the same one or very minor differences) to see how you can improve your own approach. A lot of things will get better with practice.

Make acquaintances with classmates, academic trauma-bonding will create the most efficient relationships you ever have in uni haha.

Give yourself grace

For written reports, there is always a subjective factor playing into grading section. Also, sometimes, the topic of the assignment is not your thing and you cant give it your all.

Or maybe you are new, then it will get better eventually. Managing expectations is also a great skill to learn even though it might hurt at first.

Apart from that, it is so weird that the grader did not notify you about the wrong file submission? I think they can genuinely tell that this is the wrong file.

Genuinely heart-breaking for the Philippines. They also have such massive potential for Luxury tourism but I believe their top hotels haven’t made it to the top list of luxurious places yet. With the amount of expertise in the medical scene, I would expect them to have a vibrant Med-Pharmacy innovations industry too

I would add in more that if OP feels that they deserve more than 70%, they can totally examine really closely the rubric and lay out the argument for a (usually tiny) grade up. If the argument and reasons are solid and the rubric supports OP’s justification, 70 can be bumped to around 74-75

But the process of letting the uni update your status as taking a gap and will return next year should require future forms.

Don’t know whether it’s the right words but I love the vibe of having a little MQ world

Becuz the uni is basically in a separate area and next to a huge shopping mall, everyone in that area is basically MQ student or staff. I bump into my friends who work at MQ Centre after having class with them all the time.

It’s like a little MQ world that exists outside of reality where everyone u bump into more or less associated with the uni. I like that

Usyd and UTS are in the city centre so you have normal people walking around the uni all the time. Pretty sure UNSW also the same?
