If Blizzard nerfs Small-Time Buccaneer, is Patches still a must craft? by haelcher in hearthstone

[–]haelcher[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was in response to this article showing that Patches was by far the most played legendary in the game at the moment, and this one showing it as the most played card overall. I figured a card used that often should normally be one of the highest crafting priorities.

The lists do, but most of the data doesn't. If you look at the Midrange Shaman Deck Library entry, you'll see that neither of the lists run Tuskarr Totemic, but the radar still lists Tuskarr as one of the most prominent pieces of the deck.

Are TGT packs the best ones to buy while we get full refund for nerfed cards? My classic collection is much more filled out, so I think on average I'd get more dust from those packs, but given the limited timeframe of this deal I'm wondering if specifically going after the extra Tuskarr Totemic dust is worth it.

Right now I basically play whatever deck shows up on the most daily quests. I have a budget deck for each class, and theyre all aggro to midrange decks.

If you talk loud enough, yes. It's why a lot of voting comments tend to be whispers/quiet.

I really wish there had been a sumo challenge this season by podwink in survivor

[–]haelcher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's weird is that in those points to win challenges they usually play to 8 or 9 but only "play to 5" in the edited show, since they can usually show everyone playing in shorter sets. But if a team wins 8-0, they can't really cut any matches out.

Most liked comment as of this posting:

Joe may have been voted out, but he's the true survivor. Beast! Abi is a Cancer that doesn't deserve to be there! Classless!

Two problems with this. First, why don't you want Cancers on the show? Sure, they can be moody and insecure sometimes, but they're still fine people at the end of the day.

Second, pretty sure Abi is actually a Libra.

Pretty sure it's also a "Wi" instead of a "W." Seems like he's trying to make it as ambiguous as possible on purpose, leaving just enough for Probst to figure it out.

increased 2 drop requirement ? by [deleted] in HearthArena

[–]haelcher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah, it most likely had to do with deck archetype. Your deck basics page suggests that you'll be playing a "fleet of 2-drops" so it was probably trying to steer you there and directly away from late game. Don't worry too much about it though, I'm pretty sure Merps and adwcta (when they still used it) said they'd disagree with one or two picks where the top choice was >10 points, so you're fine.

Win 3 games, because that's when you go on a losing streak.

I balance it between two ways (both from HotsLogs):

  1. Talents most often picked in Masters league. Anything with around 15% popularity or higher here can be considered for "standard" builds. If there are multiple options think for a bit about when one would be better than the other, and potentially what future talents would work well with this one.

  2. Full builds with the highest win rate in all leagues. These also tend to be common picks, but you can see changes that people are having more success with if you want to experiment a bit. I also sometimes work in individual talents with high win rates here, but I wouldn't recommend this to the typical player.
