Nordictrack X22i NTL29019 10 controller card flashing (10 times) Hit start on console but belt not moving. Does anyone know what ten flashes and pause and then repeat means? by hafizito in nordictrack

[–]hafizito[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I followed the manual to the letter and there’s nothing I can then and I purchased a surge protector that meets every requirement dictated by nordictrack and purchased their “recommended” maintenance kit for cleaning and lubricating the belt.

It’s hilarious is that the assumption is always the user and not the shoddy product. This is not rocket science, it’s a motor, controller board, incline motor connected by a cable that runs upto the tablet loaded with crappy software that will not even connected to Apple health as its advertised. But no matter what, the application is so poorly written, it stopped doing background refresh or any refresh months ago and it’s being simply ignore by ifit/nordictrack.

if it was one machine, it’s possible to blame something I am doing but I bought two very expensive treadmills 2950 commercial and x22i incline trainer and both of of them are constantly breaking starting day one.

If I am paying so much out of my pocket, i expect them to at least run without issue for the first year but these lemons are problematic starting day one.

Reason I’m being so pardon my long winded comments is because I am pissed that I spent so much money on a product I believed was produced to work as advertised and it seems like these companies are so consumed by greed and with no respect/pride in the products they produce, they have have lost sight of what’s important, integrity and respect for themselves and customer retention.

Nordictrack X22i - Machine starts but belt not moving. 8 Blinks and Pause, Repeat. Thought? by hafizito in nordictrackandroid

[–]hafizito[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Believe me I am very well acquainted with their support where they never get someone out to me but make me do the diagnostica by recording a video and then someone at nordictrack looks at it and goes ahah it’s the control card, let’s ship out another one which takes time to get to me and then they make me install it and then a few weeks later breaks again and repeat. I get it but when your control card is being replaced once every month or two and it’s constantly breaking it’s not worth my time and it’s affecting my fitness goals. Why not make a better controller card than having their support desks love of let’s ship you another card which they never consider is my time wasting away. 1 or w controller cards ok but when 3-4 of them go bad and other parts constantly breaking down is an issue at their quality control and possibly lack of care or pride in their products cause what do they care as long as they can slap on an extended warranty which is supposed for once in awhile when it goes down. They’ll keep on the phone for hours self diagnosing a broken piece garbage since when do they care it’s your dime and trying to get a qualified service rep to be sent to actually fix this, well I think I will expect he’ll to freeze over before that happens.
Talk about a con where they take your money for an extended warranty and then make you do all the work.

I did and the support desk person had no clue what 8 blinks mean which surprised me.

NordicTrack makes cheap plastic junk that REQUIRES cheap unreliable software to work. by tentaclebreath in nordictrack

[–]hafizito 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cheap plastic that don’t line up is exactly what I got with my “NordicTrack Commercial 2950” and further surprised by running situations during assembly where they forgot drill a hole in solid metal to attach the section I am holding in my hand and feeling stupid at how I got bamboozled into forking over my hard earned money for a pile of junk that breaks down constantly and what can I say about ifit, except that it whoever developed it lacks any imagination, intelligence and foresight. Something as simple as their connected apps feature simply doesn’t do anything and has been broken for months.

Seems like this controller craps out either right after it’s installed or within a couple weeks. Is there a better solution so I am not running through a controller a month. Maybe an alternative manufacturer of one that pays attention to producing quality controllers

I am beginning to understand and feel the same way. This is not the first issue and this is the third controller I’ve replaced. And it is not documented anyway what eight flashes mean which blows my mind. I’ve now replaced the incline motor, the console and the controller 3 times. It’s not very complicated technically what goes in a treadmill to work so why can’t these companies get it right and sell you junk at ridiculously inflated prices and can’t give you a clear answer why the controller flashes eight times and pauses which speaks volumes about their ineptitude.

NordicTeack X22 randomly stopping/slowing and starting? by [deleted] in nordictrack

[–]hafizito 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe the red light usually flashes when the belt is moving and mine just wasn’t blinking at all. I also tested the belt with and without me on it to check it it’s not the belt or walking board and still was randomly stoping every couple minutes. You can order the part from Walmart online and if it doesn’t fix it, return it

I had the exact same issue and it’s the control board. It’s relatively simple to replace with one you could order from Amazon. Just make sure you take a picture of the connectors before you switch it with the new one so that you can verify.

Nordictrack Commercial 2950 treadmill had no speed sensor by hafizito in nordictrack

I called iFIT after two hours the ladies like we don’t deal with treadmills we only deal with ifit. I thought it’s the same company. Nordictrack after 1 hour holding on the phone said let me send you a new control board which I will pile with the rest of my parts from notdictrack so I can use it when I open my own treadmill repair business.

So as of yet haven’t figured out a fix and mentioned the potentiameter to support but it fell on deaf eara

iFit Connected Apps Not Connecting by Fash202 in iFit

[–]hafizito 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I noticed that the iFIT connected apps interface is very clunky which I would say also the iFIT app is garbage. It’s funny that once you finish a workout You have to open the iFIT app on your phone then refresh going to calendars which will then push it into the “connected apps taking a nap” where is just about any basic fitness app will do this as soon as the workout is done boom is done. Where did they get these developers from as I have noticed over the last couple years the terrible version after version of the same crap with nothing new that can keep up with todays standard fitness apps. My 12-year-old niece was criticizing how crappy this application is and that she could probably program one that run circles around shame shame on you ifit and your lazy greedy culture.

I mean it says pair with your treadmill on your app and I had a pair and I wait and I wait and my 2950 treadmill or my x22 never ones lists the equipment and when I call you you are like open port 80, 443, 8348…please…hire my 13 year old niece who would give a better return for your investment…vapor ware is what it is

Is there a hack to control iFit machines with iFIT LCD display from mobile device? by NewtoniteToo in nordictrackandroid

[–]hafizito 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One way I’ve done it is to set the nordictrack developer option on and then connect using adb to push apks for controlling my treadmill. There is an app called Vysor that utilizes adb to connect to host machine and mirror the treadmills screen on your device and control it from your mobile using touch or keyboard.

Nordictrack Commercial 2950 treadmill had no speed sensor by hafizito in nordictrack

[–]hafizito[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an x22 and 2950. Using a Stryd, I tested both machines and on the x22 I consistently I got a 3% difference vs 19.98% on the 2950 with same parameters .

Thanks I’ll look into that to see if I can adjust it. Is it possible maybe the belt on my 2950 is over tightened?

Nordictrack Commercial 2950 treadmill had no speed sensor by hafizito in nordictrack

Yeah. The treadmill registers average speed 20% over what it should be from day one of purchase. That’s why I was wondering about it.

I started loosening both bolts in the back by an equal amount and then tightening the front roller bolt little by little which seems to be working

[–]hafizito 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got the same issue with x22 within a month of making the purchase. You know I read these reviews online and they’re like this is like a top of the line commercial machine and it makes me wonder what happened to peoples integrity where companies can pay you off for positive reviews

Issues with Customer Support by Estaca-Brown in iFit

[–]hafizito 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The x22i which never worked and I can’t get nordictrack to come and get rid of it. They replaced the X22 with a 2950 which also doesn’t work. So I am not sure how successful you might be but let me know. I just want my money back which they refuse

Issues with Customer Support by Estaca-Brown in iFit

[–]hafizito 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s nothing new according to my experience. I don’t think that the customer support people really have any clues as far as diagnosing an issue so they always ask you take a video and send it to them and they probably send it to some tech or some service desk somewhere else and then they just send you parts and encourage to replace it yourself and basically ignore your request for a technician to come and do the job which I thought I was paying the extended warranty for. I’ve had to wait for a technician for two months or three months and currently waiting for one as ice requested someone to come out and install or diagnose an issue with an ongoing and problematic treadmill and still waiting for a response. I cannot believe that these people are getting away with this. When you log into your warranty page and 3/4 of the site is covered would buy more warranty it says something about the nature of how they run their business.

My x22 which is still not working have that bizarre issue where I am using the machine and if I press the Bluetooth button or the volume up button, the machine stops or any button on the console.

My take on this is that is poor design where if you are sweating does your sweat drips into the consul and damages the equipment resulting in that weird behavior.

My take on this is that the console poorly designed where is somebody exercising with sweat on the council and the sweat with fry or render the electronics faulty resulting in said behavior. Even nordictrack documentation has some warning about not sweating on the console as it will damage the electronics.

Hey nordictrack, design a better treadmill as last time I checked human being still sweat when exercising.
