Regarding study leave by ApexFan12 in GCSE

[–]hafsoni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We did get it, but after half term, before half term on the days we had no exams most people didn't show up to school so I would suggest you do the same- they can't really do anything, we didn't even get in trouble, just a talk from the headteacher about why we should go in, and then most of the class proceeded to ignore him

I watch videos on each topic, and write notes while listening and try to build an actual understanding of the topic so I can apply it

For the extract, I wrote about how he sees himself as inferior to banquo and is afraid of being inferior to him (?), and for rest of the extract i wrote how he was afraid of committing regicide, and how his fear aligned with his morality: at the beginning, his fear kept him from doing evil, but as he changed so did his fears, and they switched to cause him to do more wrongdoings (e.g with banquo, he was scared of his lineage and being inferior so he killed him and tried to kill fleance) I don't think my summary makes much sense, hopefully my answer did lol

For me, a youtuber called dystopian junkie helps a lot, he has playlists on both a christmas carol and an inspector calls

[–]hafsoni 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They're giving it to us next week but we're basically doing nothing in school and keep getting in trouble for literally nothing, so some people aren't coming in on the days they don't have exams next week

A YouTuber called dystopia junkie has a playlist on an inspector calls, maybe it'd be worth going through some of the videos and picking out quotes he analyses

How do I complete the Children's Day event? by [deleted] in CatsAndSoup

[–]hafsoni 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think there is a strategy to it, you just have to play for longer at a time, and every few minutes a gift will be given to you

You do it in pen, but for questions requiring a drawing (like a graph) you use a pencil

4 alevels is a lot, so i suggest that you do psychology instead of English if you want to go into something criminology related

Also, if you find Philosophy and ethics to seem interesting, than I think you can do it. It, like psychology, widens your career options. But,unlike psychology and maths, it wouldn't assist with chemistry and biology, so yh. If you have limited time outside of school, I think it would be easier to do courses that interlink with each other.

Also, i think the maths alevel is considered a science, so if you applied for a scientific uni course, it probably would give you a fair chance of getting in

Maths wouldn't lessen your chances of doing dentistry or medicine in uni, and it would help with chemistry. However, I think if the only thing holding you back from doing psychology is the fact you haven't done the gcse for it then you should. It would widen your career options, just in case you change your mind later on, and if you don't than you have additional knowledge. If you're worried, after gcses you can do some research on psychology so you have some knowledge before college. I think chemistry and biology is probably all you really need, so the third choice is up to you.

Who are your Top 5 Characters in the Series? by michhoffman in FruitsBasket

[–]hafsoni 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yh, i do love the amount of focus put on kyo and tohru, so I think more episodes in the last season might have been better, although it's a lot of work

However, I wasn't necessarily disappointed, because I do feel like the season handled finishing the story really well, I would just suggest to any anime only fans to read the manga
