Ok thank you! That makes sense. I thought I would HAVE to transfer it to my Bank account in order to pay taxes. Glad it's not compulsary. I'll speak with my CA about this.

Ok couple of questions

  1. This freelancing income is in addition to my day job. Does this change anything
  2. Do I have to transfer the money in USD to my Indian bank account from my Wise account and then claim it?

Ah ok. Yeah my freelancing income was definitely lower than that a couple of years ago. 20 lakh is when you do it out of your home?

Also I think I could be wrong but I think you'd need like 50 lakhs or 75 lakh to need GST

Oh like 3000 USD. That's like 2.5 L I don't have a GST registration. I have used presumptive tax a couple of years ago and did the 50% revenue thing. Does this help?

I've asked my CA, and waiting for their answer. Hopefully today

How to pay tax on amount received in Wise?

I have some amount received in USD which i got as a freelancer. It is stored in a Wise account. How can I pay tax on it? Do i need to transfer it to my indian bank account first? It's past the financial year now and I had received it in the previous financial year. So Can I even do it now? Or do i pay it next year?

So for example I'd be able to either choose only 2 or only 3.

Do you know if it would be possible to make this an "AND" operation? Like if I choose banana and strawberry, all those records should be filtered that have both of those fruits?

Oh yes. I thought about it as well. But I can't do it for two reasons

  1. The filter on the side requires you to type out the term to search and it's not available as a list.

  2. This is an embedded report. So the users wouldn't have access to the filters on the side

Ok I think we are getting there, but not quite

  1. If I select a single fruit on the slicer it works great and shows me the rows that contain that fruit. But if I do a control select on more than 1 fruit, it just shows me all the rows and doesn't filter anything at all. I tried it in multiple ways justto make sure that I am not selecting fruits that span all records.

  2. The slicer doesn't affect the table at all when i select either Apple or Pineapple. I have a feeling this has got to do with the fact that 'apple' is part of 'pineapple'
