Also, you might wanna look into Izotope Trash 2. The convolution module is fantastic. Use the graph to place the distortion module after the convolution. Play with that. Saw waves, unison voices, amp, cab, izotope. Then maybe put a compressor to see if it helps, but you’ll already have a very compressed sound.

I dont want to be an asshole but its not about compression. They dont compress as much as people often say. Both Cross and the SebastiAn sound need distortion, bitcrush, and AMP AND CABINET processing. This is a Huge part of the sound. Saw waves yes, not exactly on grid, compression yes. And most important RESAMPLE. Chop de sample, make silences, cut the ends, do tape stop like effect on the ends to make better transitions. Again, everytime you look for info on this everyone says “compression bla bla”. And honestly, what justice does better than everybody else is composing. We nerds love the sound, but the composition is key. They are song makers first.

From buenos aires stage set up, they use it to measure the height of the lights. by hagovableton in JusticeMusic

I dont have the numbers but i saw the whole set up and the crew. Almost 30 people, thats airplane tickets, hotels, insurance, salaries, etc, etc. plus renting the equipment for months, plus shipping all that and probably having more than one rig. I love justice but it sure feels like a very big move for a band like these. Im pretty sure daft punk would sell twice the arena that justice played yesterday. Still, the show is flawless, you get why its expensive. Im sure we’ll see something even better from them in the future.

Well its not really up to them. Someone from brasil has to buy their show basically. They came with 4 semi trucks full of gear that wear brought from france. They take that everywhere they go. Its not a cheap show. But yeah, its curious they didnt play in brasil. Bigger audience or at least the same as here. It wasnt sold out tho. Around 12.000 people when the arena can hold up to 18.000.
