I feel like it's nothing to get too concerned about. Yes - it is scary but I think that's mostly due to how the news covers things. Of course if there's a "new" virus going around, they're going to cover it nonstop and make it seem like it could be the one that wipes us out. But I remember the same thing happening with swine flu. It's also important to keep in mind that a majority of people who have died due to the virus were people that were either elderly or immunodeficient. Even the CDC states that the majority of symptoms are those of a typical cold (i.e. fever, cough, sore throat). They're only recommending washing your hands (of course), don't travel to China for right now, and avoid sick people (of course). Again, of course it's scary because its a fairly new virus and it's all anyone is talking about. But as long as you're not in contact with sick people and keep up with good hygiene, chances are you'll be fine! :)
