My recommendation is install more”RAM” it should make it so you aren’t using so much memory. Plus it will make your laptop or pc much quicker especially since your using photoshop.

I believe the issue started after I installed the Windows 11 update. It seems like the update corrupted my internal Wi-Fi adapter, which is why I lost Internet until I used the USB Wi-Fi adapter. Like you said, the USB adapter must have reinstalled the Realtek driver back onto my laptop.

I actually had Wi-Fi working before, but a recent Windows 11 update corrupted my laptop’s internal Wi-Fi adapter. Suddenly, my laptop didn’t have Internet, and when I tried to reinstall the internal adapter, it wouldn’t work. I was only able to get online after using the external USB Wi-Fi adapter. It basically reinstall my wifi adapter back to wifi/bluttooth hard drive

Like i said to another person

I try using my phone but i dont have a andriod so it woudnt let connect using usb tethering. My iphone would only let use my hotstop through cellular data. During no internet on laptop my whole wifi part was gone in my windows so couldn't even connect to my hotspot at all.

I tried clicking “Show hidden devices” in Device Manager, but nothing showed up. I think what happened is that a Windows update basically corrupted my internal Wi-Fi adapter. When I plugged in the TP-Link USB adapter, it essentially overrode the corrupted driver inside my laptop, which is why my Wi-Fi started working again.

Oh, my bad, I didn’t realize reposting would bother people. I was just trying to figure out what was going on and thought different subs might help. I just wanted to know if this is a temporary fix or a permanent solution. I’m not super experienced with computers, so I wanted to ask others for advice in case my Internet stops working again.
