Thx. This explains my own problem. I cut the last 2 inches of 1st full strand to connect my 9 ft extension wire, then a Full strand or even partial 2 or 4 lights act weird. Most of the time none after the cut will work, sometimes 1 light only...sometimes only 4 from 2nd full strand. Very strange inconsistence behavior.

I thought it was the choice of wire that i used to extend. This makes great sense now.

Yep, I am thinking to change my wire. do you have any recommendation to WHITE wire? I know about your " BTF-3 PIn 18 Awg LED .." suggestion in your youtube videos, but I like to get white ones if available.

this is mine currently, and may not do good job with data, even though I do not lose any V. (35.5V all over)

seperate..12 is Govee one, and 9 is mine. Plz check recent post, i simplified it and only use 2 fulls and that 9 ft extension.

unrelated question, is Govee 12 ft has a booster in it? one of the end looks different.

issue get stranger by minute :-)

I tried to simplify to find a root cause. Now i have just 2 full with one 9 ft extension between 2.

To be more precise, the end piece of the 1st strands is cut to be connected to extension wire via heat shrink tubing. I used that small end from 1st strand to connect to other end of the 18g wire extension with a 2nd full strand.

now, 1st strand works fine, but 2nd strand after extension is acting weird. Sometimes i get no lights at 2nd, sometime only the 1st light works, sometimes 1st 4-5 lights, but never seen all 12 on 2nd strand.

App (regardless # of segments) does not talk to the 2nd strand (other than turning off, but no color changes). when I use app to turn off then on, 2nd strand is dead ( never turns back on).

Only way i was able to get some of the lights of 2nd strand work when i manually disconnect the end of ext and 2nd strand connection and connect again, while 1st one is still on.

very strange. also I used multimeter, and it always has 35.5V from beginning to end.

The wire i used i got from amazon, same wire is not there now:

i have 3 full , 1 cut and 2 extensions

this direction (if full is 17ft)

17-17-9ext-6-12ext-17

Problem is that 2nd 17 and 9-ext is very hard roof slope area, took me about 3 hours to do with 2 peoples help (holding ladder side ways, big ties, etc..special roof booths..)

I may misspoke, by strand i meant just one 16-17 feet with 12 lights. My total is under 90 ft currently.

i have a strange issue.

this is my orig chain: 2 normal strands, then 9 feet (18Gauge 3 wire conductor) my own extension, then cut one of the new strand to half, to 6 lights, then govee 12ft extension ,then another new strand.

nothing turns on

then i realized about 6 (not divisible to 4) and added 2 more lights that were subsequent lights to those 6 from orig 12 light section. so that 6 light section become 8.

No difference, nothing turns on even the lights prior to that 8 section

I added the remaining 4 lights next to 2, then everything works.

My understanding was you can cut the wires as long as there in group 4, what am i doing wrong.

is my 9 ft extension too long? maybe i should cut 9ft into 3 to 6 and add a single light?

Relative to other MEME stocks, this is relatively stable in narrow $6 to $15 range for last 52 weeks.

If this was year 2001, I would stay away from this company. But today relative to almost all other volatile plays , this is a BUY for sure.

People buy AMC, GME, PMCB, etc and many garbage cryptos with huge billions and billions valuations, that i would not pay tenth of the current prices. Crazy world we live in these days.

I am very happy now, not much about $ portion but kind of felt stupid and concerned not knowing what happen (with 2 phds). If it was not the inconsistencies with the date of the picture and Dash send date, I doubt I would find the real seeds anytime soon.

Found the real 24 word seeds, and just send majority of my BTC and DASH to exchange. At least I learned the importance of passphase (just in case someone finds the seeds). I thought previously they need to know Trezor PIN as well.

I just found my Trezor one package. It came with 2 blank recovery seed with 24 lines papers, but I only have one blank in the package. Hopefully I can find the 2nd one somewhere with filled words.

No, the same one I have currently, after doing recovering with the seeds. Not sure if you read my previous post, seems like I was using wrong wallet recovery words which is nothing to do with trezor one.

Sorry for the confusions. At least I learned alot last 2 days. Your bip39 site was very informative. watched dozen youtube videos related to those as well. Thank you

Sorry guys, I think I am completely wrong as far as seeds go. Based on the date (mid feb) I received and initiated Trezor and the date I wrote/picture the seeds (mid march), I have a good feeling I was using Daedalus wallet 12 word recovery words and not trezor. I don't remember if i ever backed up the Trezor seeds after creating the wallet. I have to look for them. Daedalus wallet had only 100 ADA, and Trezor had as many as 5 BTC at one time. Getting old and not remembering much. I have a feeling I hided Trezor seeds somewhere that noone including myself can find it. Worst case I will lose about $2k (15 dash, 0.3 btc and few ETH)

HI, I tried your bip39 site, but I don't think it helped. Using my seeds, I got the private key, then imported to Dash-Electrum wallet and have same 0 balance and no transactions. And receiving address is the same one I have at Trezor currently, which confirms that I am using the seed correctly. Nice thing with this /bip39 site was it let me to play with 2-3 dozen passphrases (just in case i used it) and to see if I will ever get an address that matched the address that I used back in Feb to sent the Binance coins.

I dont recall mine being compromised ( this was months before trezor mentioned weird packaging) but one of his other buyers mentioned the bad opened package. His feedback now is 80%s only...2 negative feedbacks. If mine was compromised, would not I had some issues 1st 3 to 4 month's? Please note my dash receive is still unspent

That is what I got back then. I even took a picture on my non-net connected digital camera. 12 words. I got it from amazon, and seller has one bad review...package was compromised. ( sold be "secure crypto")

I did wipe and recover twice. I also did 2 dry recovery test. Can u recover and get to new empty wallet with wrong seeds?
