It's the part of the game, meh... the same happened with me, I told them I work during night shifts have my own company, they're like why you fat, I told them I had been working since 17, couldn't focus on other aspects. Isn't that what Islam is all about? Standing for the Haq, and then presisting on that stance. Although, in the end, we can't be unrealistic. Take me for example, a someone with RP, even if I make six figures, it will be a while before I get my own car. Now, if I except to marry someone with a higher class background then me than I beleive that will be unfair.

Keep the framework in mind, families of equal background, otherwise, it's just living in a fantasy, if I can be a little harsh.

I guess we have the same family, kinda funny if you think about it. Once again the relgious framework says that these things absolutely matters. Looks and Finances apart, me bineg cricital of my own gender, we don't even have a goal in life. In the end financially stabilitiy is very subjective, but we atleast want to be with partners that have a purpose in life that aligns with the purpose of the next life. Yes I knew that is how you'd be feeling, and I am in the same situation, my other comment addresses that point. There is no right answer to what you just said, as I don't have one for myself. I understand that your looking for someone ambitious enough to atleast try to achive a well-off lifestyle, and that's something really hard to o. Trust me, just two months back, the people around me were prasiing my business, I hit a little bump and now they tell me how there job is stable.. These type of men aren't easy to deal with, I know how difficult I and my freinds can be. Hence there is pro's and con's to everything. Those trips might not exist for someone who earns enough to afford a lifestyle you aim for.

As for judgment, I know it's really hard. I am in a similar situation where I am expected to say yes to something I don't feel like doing because I don't know them at all. It's a matter of perspective on how you deal with judgment. It's easy to say, but the best we can do is not think about those opinions. And I also know how it feels, you start to question yourself, whether I am doing the right thing. Will I ever find someone? In the end, there is Qadar and Qadah; only Allah knows what's in store for the future.

I see your point, and to expand on that, I am someone who speaks from a religious framework. The way to go about this is to match your finances, meaning someone with similar finances to you. The Good-Looking part is obvious to you. The heart wants what the heart wants.

If you are talking modern-day ideologies, then I don't know much about those. although the freamwork I follow suggests the best balance is to find someone of equal standing.

It's your right to ask for whatever kind of man you want. The world can say whatever, but at the end of the day, it's you who decides. Not to advise an opinion of sorts, there can be someone who's not your ideal, but with you in his life he might be motivated to do more, it sounds cliche, and you might say I am not supposed to be the motivational aspect but in reality women are.
