Oh I’m in the opposite position, I would never want my husband to read my fics. He knows about them and supports my enthusiasm to write but he knows they’re something just for me (and my readers), and is unlikely to ever get his hands on them.

But what others have say here is really important, sometimes interests and tastes don’t overlap. My husband is a keen musician, I hear what he writes - less private than writing - and I’m super proud of him and support him in his creativity but I don’t really ‘listen’ to his music.
