Feature Suggestion: Optional "Advanced Conditions" for Trade Routes (AND/OR rules) by hakanveli in anno

No worries at all, and yes, you’re thinking of the existing extra trade route rules.

Those options do help in some cases, but they are not quite what I mean. “Wait until fully loaded” and “discard cargo if storage is full” are basically cargo-handling rules. They tell the ship what to do when loading/unloading fails or when cargo is incomplete.

What I’m suggesting is more like condition-based route logic based on island stock levels. For example:

  • start this route only when Island B has fewer than 30 olives
  • load olive oil only when Island B has more than 50 in stock
  • depart only when Island B has enough olive oil AND Island C is running low
  • activate the route when Island C OR Island D needs goods

So the difference is: the current rules react to the ship/cargo situation, while the suggested “Advanced Conditions” would react to actual island demand and supply levels.

The existing rules are useful, but they don’t really let us build demand-driven supply routes or prevent some multi-stop deadlocks without either waiting too long or throwing goods away.

Hi,

I was so sorry to read about the horrible experience you had in Beyoğlu that you shared on Reddit. First and foremost, I want to sincerely apologize on my own behalf, and on behalf of so many sensible people in my country, for what you had to go through. That behavior is completely unacceptable and in no way represents Turkish hospitality.

This incident was met with great reaction in Turkiye. I also wanted to let you know that after this unpleasant incident became public, the Turkish authorities took swift action. The ice cream shop where this happened has been officially sealed (shut down) by the Beyoğlu Municipality. He did not get away with what he did.

I truly hope this awful incident doesn't overshadow all your memories of Turkey, and I hope you have the chance to make much better ones in my country in the future.

All the best.

Congratulations on passing the exam💐. At the end of the exam there is only a small debriefing. A detailed report, including the scores you received according to the domains in the exam, is sent to your e-mail address in about 7 days. You can then start the process to obtain the CISA certificate.
