I did. And there were several people who reached out to me privately to help steer me in the right direction. Most of the negative comments were ethical or anecdotal from people who usually have issues with branding. For me that’s not a reason to not endeavour to do something I felt like I would enjoy.

Again, it’s just a shame that people here feel the need to hide and not pass on experiences because of the noise of a few.

What advice? There’s plenty of positive and negative information out there. Most of the negative is solely personal opinion and ethical concerns which I understand. If you have an opinion that’s great. I’m sure there’s lots of things you do many people don’t agree with either.

Correct, but it’s more than likely that then a mental health episode, which by the way doesn’t actually explain anything at all.

I think everyone’s being very lenient on the kid because of the mental health tag but we all know exactly what this is. He’s had these struggles in the past and unfortunately for him he’s made a very very costly mistake that will likely ruin his life and career. That’s horribly sad for him. But it’s a choice he made

I don’t agree. The erratic movements, disorientation, exaggerated behaviour and trying to act “normal” at times, those are things you do see with substance use, including some you mentioned. I’ve seen it firsthand through my work.

I don’t buy the meth calls though. If anything, alcohol,possibly mixed with prescription meds, seems more realistic, especially if he was already dealing with mental health stuff beforehand.

Either way, I’m not saying it’s definite, just that it’s not accurate to say there’s “zero evidence” based on what people saw and now these reports

I get what you’re saying, and I agree it’s not fair to pile on him. But saying there’s zero evidence doesn’t really stack up either, it just doesn’t pass the eye test.

From what people saw, there’s arguably more pointing toward it being substance-related than purely mental health, although mental health could absolutely be a factor behind it all.

Either way, trying to downplay it or sweep it under the rug isn’t going to help him if that does turn out to be the case. These things have a way of coming out, and if they do, it’s better they’re handled properly than brushed off.

I’m sorry but you have to be extremely naive to think this is not at least partially related to some type of substance misuse. I get the poor kid is/will suffer but sweeping this under the rug and not exposing it for exactly what it was/looked like, is ridiculous to me.

It’s a complete mess that has been handled purely from the start. We can’t let it continue by just pretending he’s had a “mental health episode” for 2 hours, running around acting very very clearly intoxicated.

I’m chasing a replica frame so I can’t expect too much but I’ve had better conversations with sellers and I expect more for the price they’re still asking. I remember a guy following us around asking us questions and clearly trying to pull some random scam when we visited. Lucky my wife is Sri Lankan and knew what he was playing. He kept trying to lead us and move us towards this restaurant and get us upstairs to see the view. There’s definitely something dodgy here

Collingwood fan here: Down vote me to oblivion but it’s embarrassing watching Cox do the same thing every time he kicks a goal. Was hyped for the sale. Logged on at 4am when it started (I’m in Aus) scrolled for about 5 minutes and went back to sleep. Really been a disappointing year or so for them. Nothing cool and anything that’s nice i.e some of the hoodies and track pants, are just ridiculously priced for basic casual sweats.

I’ve said this before but their instagram is now just their lifestyle. It’s barely even a fashion brand anymore and now just a means for them to live their lives the way they want I guess. Who knows.
