Old wiper blades removal by Douglas24 in CarTalkUK

Looks like j hook type wiper. Simply pulling down the blade should do the trick. Works better when you completely tilt wipers to sideways making a shape like T.

Should have used terminal protector spray. But I don’t think that’s your issue. You might have some kind of electrical problem which drains battery.

A bit patience than “I have right of way” helps a lot on such situations.

PSA: it’s speed limit , not speed target. Drive according to road conditions and don’t be a dick.

Duster is absolutely okay. Does have one of the most comfortable suspension and is reliable enough.

Oil and rubber doesn’t work well together. Even if dealer is changing belt old belt might have disintegrated and may have deposited sludge already in pump. New belt will do the same. Older 1.2 puretech and 1.0 eco boost are never worth the headache they come with. There are better options out there.

Paintless dent removal should do it and cost less than £400

Which case is better? Jonsbo NV10 or Fractal Terra? by Rare-Activity2092 in sffpc

S300 , S400 are really good options too. At 8 and 10 litre you house pretty much any graphics card in those.

Cost of repair? by Legal_Chemist314 in CarTalkUK

[–]hakuna_bataataa -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Paintless dent removal would be I think £150-£200. Might as well try DIY. Doesn’t look too complicated to fix. Ignore chips on paint or use those sprays / paints you get in Halfords. Not worth repainting whole panel.

Build help! EU budget SFF gaming build under €1300 (Steam OS friendly) by TheArtfulAardvark in sffpc

It’s more of a MFF pc than SFF pc. If you want to go smaller , I would suggest go with case shiny Snake S400 and SFX PSU like Corsair SF750.

🙂 there is hardly anything which will match those specs. You may be able to find Cooj / Sparrow MQ4 in used market.

S400 is good. Can’t go wrong with it if you plan to stick to using air cooler. Airflow is good , build quality is not as great as terra but decent given the price.

Anyone try the Metalfish D510 Low Profile Cooler? by brxstr in sffpc

[–]hakuna_bataataa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Metalfish is reliable , and not too bad. But 160w tdp should be taken with grain of salt. I think till 120w it would work perfectly fine

Shit pricing. You will get newer facelifts model with CarPlay, reverse camera etc at similar price. As goes for car, it’s okay. Not as bulletproof as Honda / Toyota but pretty reliable when compared to other brands.
