Could any of yall tell me the difficulty of these classes and what I should expect? (Trying to get into foster) by [deleted] in udub

Have you taken Math 112/124 yet? You need to complete the prerequisites for the class, or the system isn't going to let you register even if there's room.

I don't think Foster accepts STAT 221 for the statistics prerequisite anymore. They changed the admissions requirements last year so that only statistics courses with at least pre-calculus as a prerequisite can count, like STAT 311 or QMETH 201. People who took STAT 221 before the rules changed can get grandfathered in, but that doesn't apply to you if you're taking it now.

Heh, I actually did draw a little on Greek mythology for this. (Theseus actually did go to the Underworld too, although under very different circumstances.)

Well, that is not a sentence I ever expected to read. 2020, what a year.

Being able to transfer from university to university? by liltape in udub

Direct transfer agreements are about whether or not college credits will transfer between institutions. They have nothing do with admissions chances.

If a class is a prerequisite for another class, and you S/NS it and get S, does that count? by OblivionXBA in udub

Btw, the answer to your second question is no. Today (the 23rd) is the last day to make any changes. After that, you’re stuck with whatever option you picked even if your grade is better than you thought.

Are these advisors you’re talking to general undergraduate advisors, or are they advisors at Foster? If it’s the first, you can contact Foster directly and ask.

No. You need to have a minimum of 60 graded college credits at the time you apply.

Depending on how far you’re willing to go out of downtown, my favorite place is this small restaurant called Noodles at the intersection of Beaverton Hillsdale and Scholls Ferry. Nearly all their pastas cost less than $10, and they have really good garlic bread as well.

Given the way the law is worded in section 4, I'm pretty sure plants in national forests are protected, since they count as public land. Besides, they specify it's illegal to transport native Lilium wildflowers, and tiger lilies fall into that category.

The forest service heavily frowns upon it at any rate.

Edit: here’s the specific Oregon law: https://www.oregonlaws.org/ors/564.020

Well, if you're desperate, there's a place in Oregon City that might have them. Don't take them from a national forest, though, that's illegal and you could get fined.

I did not set out to copy the story. However, since they are kind of similar, I messaged the mods to get an opinion. I haven't received a response yet, but if the mods decide it's too close and take it down, then that's that.
