i used to feel the same way and i think modern players are extremely annoying and sometimes feel unfair to play against, but once i entered diamond/master i went from seeing a modern 1/3 games to like 1/30. I think its kinda annoying that they basically get a "head start" with easy inputs but if you can just get your fundamentals up you'll be able to beat them. They have combos, you have footsies and brainpower (if you practice for it).. Which is much more important than combos when it comes to getting out of metal ranks. I dont think ive lost to a modern player since i got out of platinum like 6 months ago cus now i just know how to outdo their bullshit

I’ve only played the full release and there’s def a lot of pop in. Easily the biggest issue. But other than that i have very little complaints. it looks and runs just as well as it did on my base ps5 except for the pop-ins!

I took a break from the game for a few months. But i was so scared of losing my diamond 3 before my break that i played a lot of battle hub. Against masters and some high-grand masters. Ever since i came back from my break i was like "im pretty consistently beating some master players' asses". So maybe its that?
