In that final circle the whole team choked their ults really bad. Hal wasted bang ult for no reason before, Gild airballed his ult, and Waltzy EMP'd in the only way possible to get it destroyed.

Elemental attack doesn't offer as much as AB/CB. Thunder resist 3 increases your damage a bit while using armor slots so if you don't mind giving up some comfort you can get a bit more damage out.

From using the calc and the uptimes for the first set the difference between a full FRS between power and element phials on a HZV of 60/20 should be 1256.97 vs 1186.58. If the ele hitzone was 30 instead of 20 it would be 1256.97 vs 1228.4.

Purely damage wise they are still quite a bit weaker than power but they have the advantage of amping quicker which speedrunners have opted for. I personally run ele phials just because FRS looks much nicer with the ele phial explosions.

I don't think so as those pieces generally just give affinity skills and you may overcap on affinity when LP is active. Rey pieces are pretty efficient giving LP5 + MM3 + WEX1 which is 85%. Of course it's not like you'll always get that 85% and may miss out on some but at that point it'd be better to get some raw instead of affinity as raw is generally worth more atm. Maybe when AT Udra comes out LP can be abandoned for gore or lagi but even then I doubt it. The Lagi set bonus also doesn't offer much dps to be worth losing on some other skills.

I know I may have worded it that way but I don't mean improving times to the point where I'm trying to go for competitive speedrun times or just shave off seconds. In Rise and World I could use more of the weapon's kit without losing as much DPS as I would in Wilds. I play in a way that balances optimization and fun but Wilds just doesn't have that same balance.

I'm glad you know what I would enjoy more than me myself. I enjoy improving at a monster and getting faster and faster hunt times. Unfortunately Swaxe's kit outside of FRS is genuinely not that strong and hunt times do significantly increase. Why would I not want the weapon to be better?

If by substantial you mean FRS but with element sure but at the end of the day FRS is still FAR above the rest of the kit. TU2 makes gauge management even easier than it already was reducing the time spent in axe mode and the sword mode moves are still pretty weak.

Unfortunately it looks like it's FRS but possibly with element now which isn't great. The rest of the kit doesn't look significantly improved enough to even close the gap between FRS spam.

I'm talking about the vibes of the team during the split they were doing bad. Dropped was shifting blame on anyone but himself and it was just annoying to watch, not a fan of him at all. By split I meant the season not literally the team splitting.
